    Bad bad design

    Looks just fine...until a bulb fails, which happens at least once a year per bulb. That means that 3 times a year you have the frustration of trying to change a G9 bulb. These are not easy bulbs to handle (you have to use a kleenex to avoid touching the bulb with your fingers) but the light fixture design makes it all just so much harder. The bulb fits very "firmly" in and, unless you have the hands of a child or you have very, very long fingers, it's hard to get a proper hold of it. The tips of your thumb and two fingers strain to grip hard on the glass tip of the bulb to try and pull it out. I worry about damaging the bulb. Is this why it's going through so many? It would be easier if the light shade could be removed to access the bulb...but you need a specific little tool to remove the shade and it doesn't reach if the bulb is in place. Chicken and egg. ....And it's very annoying having a single light fitting-specific tool that you have to keep for future use. ....And don't let me get started on how user-unfriendly G9 bulbs are!

    Q: Do you carry the 40 w halogen G9 bulbs used by this light? I don't see anything similar to the bulb required for this lamp listed on the Canadian Tire website.
