Q: is this devise okay to use with a small household vacuum? since we moved into a condo with no underground parking there is no outlet close enough

    1 Answer
    • A: It depends on the power supply for the vacuum, This product creates a 12V outlet for your car made for in car electronic accessories. A power inverter may work depending on the needs of the vacuum.

Q: Is there a particular ampereage rating for this device?

    1 Answer
    • A: The amperage is based upon the power source the product is wired to. If wired to the same power source as the original 12V port it will have the same amperage rating (usually 5-10 amps)

Q: I bought led lights for interior and it says I have to connect the positive and negative wires to a 12 volt battery would this work for my lights?

    1 Answer
    • A: The part number you list is for an auxiliary socket. IF you have bought both the interior lights and this auxiliary socket, then you probably want to use the socket to power the lights rather than use his existing outlet in the vehicle. If this is the case, then yes the auxiliary socket will work.

Q: so how dose this work and what dose it do??

    1 Answer
    • A: This product is for those who want to add a 12 volt power source to their vehicle, RV etc. Almost all vehicle electric components run on 12 volts Direct Current (DC), like radio/cd player, all lights, even the head lights, turn signals, etc. There are so many 12 volt automotive accessories available that another power source can be convient like an outlet near the back of a minivan to run a cooler. I hope this helps you and good luck. F.V.
