    With just the one lighter socket in the front of the car, this product help double the access. As I and the kids often have to plug in and recharge the cellphone, ipod touch or the tablet. The ability to change the angle helps accessibility.

    The one we purchased didn't last long. The metal keep the grip to maintain the device in place broke quickly and the device wouldn't stay in place.

    i bought this when i was lookg for a way to fix an issue i had with a usb car plugin with the cigarette lighter and i quicky fixed it whis this product. Loved it since then

    Worked well for a road trip from Toronto to Halifax powering a GPS and Ipod, but the sockets were tight fitting and when pulling out GPS/Ipod the splitter sockets would come out as well. They are spring loaded so you can fiddle with them and stick them back in, but after a while they don't go back. The cheap plastic housing has also split. In addition the tightening screw on the side is cheap and comes undone. I guess you get what you pay for...

    • A: The 12v socket adapter offers a max output of 5a, so you’d have to check the power draw for each of the heated seat covers to be installed before plugging into the adapter.
