    Bought this specifically to remove tar from bottom of car doors. 4 applications did absolutely nothing. A fifth application while lightly rubbing with a magic eraser finally removed the tar.

    Bug & Tar and tree sap

    I originally purchased Bug & Tar to remove tree sap that falls from the pine tree in our driveway onto our Lexus LS460. The sap can damage auto paint if left on the car. If you spray B&T on the sap and leave it for 5 minutes, you can remove most of the sap. A few applications gets it all. Turns out it is great for bird poop and other deposits. I am now using it to clean and wax clear polycarbonate industrial flowmeters and other parts. Great stuff.

    I had a big thing of tar on my car door and lots of bugs on the grille. I spray this on the spots as well as all the other spots and I let it sit for about 10 minutes. I used our power washer and everything came right off. I tried the power washer alone and the marks were still there, cso this stuff really worked great!!

    Horrible experience. Bought this product to get free shipping along with interior cleaner. Was told the interior cleaner was discontinued even though the website let me buy it. It was really the only thing I wanted. Fix your website!

    Q: Can this product be used on a touch screen?

    • A: I would not recommend using it. I always avoid over spraying this onto glass and any screens in my car, leaves a greasy look.
