Make single handed loading so easy!

This really makes my life so much easier. I have a winch installed in my trailer and use it to load my small racecar in the trailer. So easy with this I can do it single handed.

Defective Control Board

Purchased this a couple of years ago and it worked as it should, until recently when it quit for no apparent reason. Left it for a few days then it worked again when I decided to change my winch over to synthetic rope. Had the winch in free wheel mode to pull the old cable off and all of a sudden the remote kicked in on its own and wouldn’t stop, had to unplug the controller cable from the winch solenoid. Took the battery out of the remote and plugged the controller back in and it started to spool again on its own. Seems the board in the controller unit is defective.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I had it for a few years on the back of my teryx 4 home-made bumper with winch. I loved this remote to haul logs or my moose in the fall. great remote. but I lost it a month ago and I will need to buy one again.

A: I cannot say for sure because that’s not the size of winch I put it on. I can see of no reason why it wouldn’t though because it connects to the 12v Supply , shouldn’t matter what that power supply is running.

A: Yes, it should. The winch only has two posts. The remote controls the solenoid that operates the winch.

Q: Does this work with champion 9k winch? Or does champion winch need champion remotes ?

A: Hi Bert, I'm not familiar with champion winches but what I can tell you is this the remote control I bought works with the winches Canadian Tire sells, the remote control antenna box plug screws onto the control box for the winch. My Argo has a Warn Winch installed and the remote control isn't compatible, hope this helps.
