The Tundra Tested ATV/UTV Winch is a robust towing tool with a rated line pull of 3000 lbs (1361 kg). It comes with a 7/32" x 30' (5.4 mm x 9.2 m) steel rope wire with a snap hook. The winch includes a mounting plate for a hassle-free installation process. It operates on a 153:1 gear reduction ratio and features a Permanent Magnet 1.2 hp (0.9 kW) 12V DC motor. To prevent your vehicle from scratches, it's equipped with a roller fairlead. Also included is a handheld cable operated remote for easy manoeuvring.

Q: Anyone got a Parts Diagram and a manufacturers contact information? Need to order spare parts for this winch

A: Spate parts are not available apparently. The diagram is supposed to be on the guide that came with your winch. Unless they d'ont give it anymore. Mine was not working. After troubleshooting it, I notive that the red wire of the switch was broken at the connector. I fixed it with the Tundra wireless remote because there was no spare parts and no way to contact the manufacturer. The good point is that the remote is a good thing to have.

A: we use one and it is perfect. just make sure you support the draw bar. should of done this years ago.

A: As you probably discovered (since your question was a few months ago), this winch uses a 2 bolt mount, rather than a more common standard 4 bolt (such as factory WARN winches use). I am returning mine and I will go with either the Champion or the Superwinch. The amount of pull on these winches when my ATV is buried, and the fact my ATV is already set up for the 4 bolt mount system (it had a factory installed WARN that finally died), means I just don't have confidence in this winch.

Q: Power out or Power in?? Two different answers are given. I need to know if I can raise a heavy item and then lower it under control. Tundra Tested™ 3000 lb Utility Winch Surely it control the cable out under load as well as in. If not, it will be of no use to me and I will have to return it.

A: Winches are designed for pulling not lifting. You should look for a Hoist, or your asking for trouble.

A: Yes, each winch need solenoid to control winding in or out. For this Tundra Tested ATV/UTV winch 3000lb, the solenoid is mounted in the black control box. Thanks.
