Q: Will this tool separate the upper rear suspension ball joint on a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee? There is a suspension arm at the rear of the Grand Cherokee that ties the frame to the rear differential. It attaches to the frame with standard bushings and then it attaches to the differential with a ball joint.

  • A: If the ball joint on the rear arm of the 1999 Jeep is not greater than 2” then this product will work.

Q: Will this work on a 2006 Impala?

  • A: The tool is adjustable up to 2” to accommodate many different size ball joints. If the 2006 Impala does not require anything large that a 2” spread on the tool then Yes this will work on that make and model of vehicle.
