The Thule Step-Up Wheel Step provides the extra height needed to easily load and unload roof-mounted gear. This heavy-duty steel wheel-mounted step folds flat when not in use and includes a carrying bag for convenient storage and transport. With its no-slip tread, the Step-Up Wheel Step ensures solid traction in any weather so you can safely access your roof rack. Simply unfold and mount it on the vehicle's front wheel when loading cargo on the roof. Stepping up

Done with standing in my tire and trying to balance while loading the top of my rig. Im going to buy another one for my work truck. So much easier than grabbing a step ladder.

hella awesome for an SUV

Ridiculously simple and effective. I keep it in the storage bag in the back of my SUV once I put my roof rails on for the season. Also, the storage bag keeps everything clean if it's raining/muddy, etc and you had to climb up and tracked it onto the step. It's a great resource and is well designed for its purpose

I bought the Wheel Step with my new Thule XL Force 625 cargo box to help me and my wife load gear into the box. We have a 2008 Buick Enclave and the wheel step fits snugly on our 19" wheels. One note of caution though is that the heavy metal bars rub up against our chrome rims, so that's something to watch out for. Comes with a clean, neat carrying case and the whole package is fairly light. We also have the Hull a Port "J" rack for a kayak and this Wheel Step also works well for helping to mount the kayak to the roof rack.
