Best rack out there

I know Thule costs more than the others, but I have gone through 2 other rack systems that disappointed me. Thule has a simple setup and rock solid interface with the roof rack. Setup is a breeze, and you can feel how secure it is. All square bars will howl at highway speeds, but these are significantly quieter than my previous rack system. The added bonus is the height set by the feet. This system allows me to open my sunroof (2010 VW Jetta TDI Sportwagon) which I could never do with the old bars. There is a good gap between the roof and the crossbar now.
Thule is the boss.

Good in theory

This is a good rack that is not only easy to install, but easy to remove as well.
Problem is, on my first use, one of the end caps has gone missing. We will see how Thule customer service deals with it.

acheté en solde a 240 $, S'installe tres facilement sur tout vehicule qui a des rails sureleves sur le toit d'une largeur max de 48 pouces( mon kia rondo n'etait pas specifie sur la boite et pourtant cela s'ajuste comme un gant sur les rails).
je ne donne pas 5 etoiles uniquement parce que les serrures me semble un peu faibles.se monte et se demonte en 10 minutes. bonne conception qui n'abime pas le fini des rails du vehicule.

Simple to Install

I shopped around and Canadian Tire had the best deal, when it was on sale. I installed them in less than 10 minutes. I didn't notice any difference in gas mileage either. I would recommend them.

Picked this up to go with the Frontier Thule box and they work perfectly together on a 2007 RAV4.
Install is super easy and it costs WAY less than custom rack stores. Picked it up for $230 on sale.
Slight bit of wind noise, but it may be the location I installed it. I will test it out later....

A: Like a glove. You will also have enough height to open the sunroof with the bars on. I have the same car as you (2010 model) and it is a perfect match. Rock solid, and good clearance.

This system includes everything required to create a roof rack system base for cargo carriers.

This can be made available to you via Special Order from the Auto Service and Parts counter at your local Canadian Tire. To complete the system, you will require the following components: Thule 460 Foot Pack; Thule 4002 Fit Kit; Thule LB50 Load Bars; Thule 544 4 Lock Cores (optional; recommended).
