Buyer beware -- not for clothes moths

Yes, I know it says pantry moth trap right on the package, and it does work pretty well for pantry moths. But if you're thinking that it's the only variety of moth trap that Canadian Tire carries so surely it must be good for the clothes moths that are EVERYWHERE and raining death and destruction upon your closets, you would be wrong. Clothes moths look at them and fly away laughing. If clothes moths are a problem, you'll need to look in other stores for the traps that work on that particular moth.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I had cleaned out all my cupboards, threw out all open food, put everything in sealed containers. I had thought I killed them all, but thought better just try the traps and low and behold I still had the little buggers. The trap got them it works well attracting what I couldn't even see.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Does this attract male and female moths? Some of the moth traps I've been reading about online say that they attract male moths only. I was wondering if this attracted both M & F? Thanks!

    • A: This trap will attract and trap male pantry moths with the pheromone scent. As male moths are caught, the breeding cycle will be interrupted, decreasing the population over time.
