Just assembled it and ready to go

Bought this product at 50% off ($129). It comes in a box that can easily be fit in a sedan trunk. I had no problem handling the box. It took me about 35 mins to assemble. The only tricky part is hiding the wiring between the handle bar and the display (just loop in the 2 holes for the pulse and push them down). It came with all the tools required but I preferred using my own tools. Rode it for about 10 mins as a test - it's pretty quiet and light. I look forward to my first workout. It's too early for me to rate the product but will be sure provide update at a later date.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Sturdy and Smooth Ride

I bought this bike on sale for half off about 3 months ago. I use it probably about 3-4 times a week for about 30-45 min a day. So far, no complaints whatsoever. The hubby built it easily enough and found no difficulty with it or missing screws, etc. The "ride" is smooth and the seat is pretty comfortable. The screen gives you input as to calories, time, distance, etc, and the handles have a heartbeat monitor (just be sure to grab onto them for at least 20 seconds or so). The pedal stirrups and seat base adjust. There is a space to hold your water bottle. For what I paid for this bike, I think it was a great deal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bike anyone- just keep an eye out for a great sale- everything goes on sale at CT! ; )

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Pay for what you get

The bike was smooth in the beginning, however the battery life is dismal. During a 12 month period, I noticed rubber pieces coming from the inside of the bike. It was the belt shredding itself. Just a couple of months after the warranty period the belt broke and Tempo does not sell replacement belts. So I have 50 pounds of scrap metal on my hands. Will not purchase a Tempo bike again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Not for experienced fitness

I had my bike 1 year. I ride 40 min/ 6 days/week/20ml/hr. It now has a warped flywheel, the belt has been changed 3 times, and the tension no longer works. Now looking for better! Monitor works great only changed batteries once.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Excellent achat qualité/prix

Assemblage facile, bien expliqué. Prévoir environ une heure. Comme d'autres l'ont indiqué, ne conviendrait pas à de grandes personnes. Très correct pour moi (5pi. 9 po.). Roulement silencieux. Indications électroniques faciles à opérer.

Q: Do the Arms adjust up and down? I like the look of the bike, but my lst bike did not allow any arm adjusting. Can they be adjusted much higher or lower than what the picture is showing?

    2 Answers
    • A: No, it doesn't look like the arms adjust. But the arms are tilted up, so I don't know if that would help in terms of having to lean on them...? You can grab them at the higher point or lower point... hope that helps!

Q: How and where do I lubricate this bike?

    1 Answer
    • A: It does not require lubricant. Treadmills are more complex in nature; they would require lubricant as the pressure applied to the equipment is different. The pressure applied on an elliptical is more intense as someone walk and or runs on it. Whereas the pressure applied on a upright bike like this one is continuous as someone pedals.
