Exactly what I needed! Light, simple.

Light but doesn't feel cheap. Securely fits to your head with a positive locking headband, comfortable forehead sweat band. You can line up your work with the helmet up and with a sharp nod it is down and ready to go without using your hands. Great field of view too. The glass is huge! Also has replaceable plastic covers to protect the shade glass on the inside and outside. Spare plastic lens protector comes with it too. Also protects your neck and face from UV so you don't get a nasty burn. And it's plain. Which I like. No stupid stickers on it. Nothing flashy. No batteries to run out or electronics to fry and it cost almost nothing. I'm very happy!

For the price you can't really complain. It stops you from burning your eyeballs to cinders. Works great for a cheapo ac/dc 110 arc welder.

Q: Does this helmet flip up? I don't mean the lens part, but does the whole helmet rotate?

A: The whole helmet can be flipped up to 115 degrees up.
