I am not disappointed with the product; I'm disappointed with what we paid. Putting my trust in Canadian Tire thinking it is a good idea to support a local business was misplaced. We could have purchased the same product and had it filled for less than what we paid for an empty tank at Canadian Tire.

- A: i doesn't matter what it looks like, it matters how old it is, best thing to do is go to a PROPANE gas station and have them fill it, if it is expired, they will tell you!Anonymous14 years agoHelpful?

Q: I purchased one of these tanks to replace a Manchester one that had expired. The valve only opens a couple of turns compared to my old tank and the flow is low. I have a 4 burner bbq and I am having trouble keeping the burners lit. Suggestions?

- A: On the current valves, the valve handle should only turn a couple of turns to be fully open. The gas flow can be from a myriad of things. Its possible that the coupling that is connecting to the propane valve, is not engaging the safety check valve on the inside of the valve all the way, which is causing the flow restriction. Try disconnecting it and reconnecting it firming (but only hand tighten).5 years agoHelpful?
