Convenient lid and cooks food fast

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like how fast this pressure cooker works to create my soups! The lid is convenient as I can open it with one hand and it locks securely. The whole assembly and the quality of the stainless steel is very durable and well-made. One thing I noticed is this pressure cooker is heavier than my electric pressure cooker. I also found that certain ingredients stick a little and lightly stain the bottom.

Good capacity, cooks food well

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Really nice pressure cooker. It cooks food well and distributes the heat properly. I personally like using it for soups. I like that it is a larger capacity, so I don’t have to worry about anything overflowing! Not too heavy either, and cleaning is simple. The lid is also easy to open/close. Haven’t used the steam tray yet, but it was easy to arrange inside the cooker if needed!

A: I did not have this happen to me and I bought 2 of them from Canadian Tire. If you continue to experience this, return it. Otherwise, it is the best pressure cooker. I like that the kid is self-contained and the pressure releases relatively quick.

A: The steam basket was mentioned in the manual but but not included in the box. Since I bought the pot half price I decided not to worry about it. There are plenty of easy inexpensive solutions if one is needed.

A: Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. On page 3 or the operating manual/booklet under "Technical Information" it indicates that the unit operates at a maximum operating pressure of 80 kPa / 12 psi & the maximum safety pressure of 150 kPa / 22psi. We have also stamped the base of the pot with this information (page 10 references this as well). Hope this helps!

A: Yes. When steam is coming out of the valve when it’s in the closed position, it means that the pressure cooker is in the process of pressure cooking the food inside.
