System Build 2-Door Storage Cabinet, Cherry

I bought this for extra storage but am only OK with it. The door panels look wavy like they've had water damage although the frame seems fine. The top of the unit is rough edge and that makes for a problem because mine is next to a staircase.

It actually looks somewhat attractive for an ultra-cheap pantry. Its strengths include the height, the depth of the shelves and the number of adjustable shelves. Plenty of space. Logically, the fear of God is instilled in all purchasers as the instructions emphasize the need to attach it to the wall to prevent a fall. It won't happen if you store the heaviest items down on the bottom 2 shelves and keep lighter items near the top. As for the instructions, they are better than most, with some gaps to fill. Here are some added ideas: Step 1: leave the screws holding the kickboard to the bottom somewhat loose for easier adjustment later; Step 2: when you disassemble the hinges, start the attachment screws while you have the piece to attach in your hand - it will be easier; Step 3 you'll understand my sugg. in Step 1; Step4: if you have alternate methods for attaching the case to the wall, the long screws on the top can offer an attachment point; Step 5: nail the bottom THEN go right to the top to ensure your cabinet back is aligned before further nailing (hard to believe coloured cardboard is structural); Steps 7&8: best to locate your shelves before installing the doors, and a KEY RECOMMENDATION - the shelves can be VERY tight - to the point of damage. Before you install, take some 150 grit paper and sand the edges that will face the sides nice and smooth (and remove any glue ooze). Then on the same ends, sand the sharp bottom edges smooth so that when you force the shelf ends down, they will move MUCH more easily. Trust me - if you do this you will find the install much easier. And lower the risk of scarring the interior panels. Step 9: have fun, as the process can be challenging. And lastly, I always apply felt pads to the top and bottom edges where the case COULD hit the wall or trim. It's worth the time. Remember: heavy items on the bottom, kept near the back of the shelf...lighter items on the higher shelves. Have fun !

Si vous avez de la difficulté a monter un meuble du concurrent Suédois et que vous trouvez que la qualité de leur meuble est médiocre, je vous déconseille fortement d'acheter ce produit. Plus "cheap" que ça, c'est dure a battre.Le bois est fragile,la finition s'écaille d'un rien et ont dirait que les portes sont fini avec de la tapisserie mal collé. Aussi, le produit est censé être fait au Canada, mais sur le côté de la boite, il est mentionné, made in USA. Si vous voulez vous en servir comme bibliothèque, je vous conseille fortement d'ajouter des matériaux au centre des tablettes. Vous êtes mieux d'investir un peu plus pour une meilleur qualité.

J'ai acheté cette article cette semaine et je suis allée le retourner car je n'étais pas satisfaite. Le meuble et fait à 50% en carton. Arrière et panneau. Très décevant et peu solide. Cependant bon service à la clientèle.
