microphone doesn't work

microphone doesn't work, I tried using it for a work meeting the other day and nobody could hear me. Pretty useless, I'll have to buy a microphone to go along with it. Super grainy camera as well

A: Hi Bellesque - the webcam comes with a USB cable. It is not necessary to plug the camera into a "wall AC receptacle" as the unit is powered by the USB connection to the computer.

A: 3 feet. A little short for a floor "desk" top if you have a big monitor. But it works. 4 feet would give a bit more flexibility in setups.
