Q: Will this work as a DRL/High Beam combination? My 4Runner uses a single bulb for DRL & high beam.
3 years agoA: There are several issues with LED bulbs. A couple of them are on vehicles that use a diminished brightness on the high beam as the daytime running light. They will flicker so you need an extra piece a module, compatible with the bulb. Also if you’re planning to use them in a housing that has a dust cover they and 99.9 % of LEDs won’t fit even though they’re the right bulb

Q: Bought these for my 2016 Dodge Journey and they flicker and turn off headlights completely after a couple mins. Help!
4 years agoA: That generation of Dodge Journey uses the high beam as a Daytime running light at a reduced power level. LEDs ( even in house lighting ) don’t “ dim” so you need an adapter to allow the car to use them as DRLs and Sylvania makes a product for their bulbs. This is not an issue ohilethtuen LED strip a round the headlight area as a daytime running light.

Q: Will these work with a 2015 Mazda 3? Meaning will they function as both the High Beam and the Daytime Running Lights (DRL)? Specifically are they plug and play for this vehicle (highbeams and DRLs)?
2 years agoA: My 2012 Ram I have to turn the lights on manually for day driving. They will come on automatically when it gets dark. Also had to get them configured as they fluttered.

Occasionally, replacing traditional incandescent bulbs with advanced technology LED bulbs can trigger dashboard warning lights or unexpected hyperflash. These can usually be corrected quickly and easily with the addition of a load equalizer or flasher module. Q: I bought these for my regular headlights and they are awesome. I bought another pair for my DLR/high beams the only issue is when they come on for my DLR’s they flicker and it’s driving me nuts, though when used as high beams there is no flicker. Why?

4 years agoA: The led lights are much brighter. Not sure of lumens but once i installed them you could see the difference.

Q: I want to fit it on my 2013 dodge avanger. Will it work on it ? Because i installed other led with anti flickering module but it started flickering. So if i install it on my vehicle it will work or i need any extra equipment?
4 years agoA: You probably have the cheap CARIFAX bulbs. Buy the expensive ones at Canadian Tire. They work. Not on display. Ask for them.
