I like that how it attaches to the bicycle, but would not work with all models. And the foot is small, it cannot be used in grass or gravel. But since it is for my daughter’s bicycle and she will probably change bike next year. It is fine.

Perfect for my 2007 Trek 3700 26" mountain bike

Easy and quick to install. Very sturdy. Perfect fit for my bicycle. I think I bought the very same kick stand years ago, and had it on my bicycle since then, and never had any problems. Then my bicycle was put in storage this winter and the kick stand got lost, so I bought this stand to replace it (which I think is the very same make and model). Too bad there are so many negative one-star reviews because my experience is the exact opposite.

Very poor design

At first glance, this appears to be a decent product, but it's design will leave you flabbergasted! If you've actually gone ahead and purchased one of these, know that you'll have a frustrating time trying to install and configure it "wheels down." You're going to have to invert your bicycle somehow - at least to configure the length of the "pole" that will be holding your bike upright - because that's the only practical way. You're also going to need a stubby Phillips screwdriver. Due to the poor design of this stand, using a regular length screwdriver is going to add consternation to the frustration. The primary design flaw in this device is that the fastening of the telescoping part of the two-part pole is a single Phillips screw and that screw and the holes that receive it are inconveniently on the BACK of the pole, toward the bike's wheel! The screw is of very poor quality and was easily stripped during installation. And it will take some trial-and-error to determine if you've "telescoped" the pole to the appropriate length - a task that's impossible to determine unless the bike is wheels down. In other words, you might be screwing/unscrewing that set screw two or more times to get the pole to the optimal length and reorienting your bike wheels up/down multiple times.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Regarding the Super Cycle rear-mount kickstand, use the existing wheel nut and washer(s) on your bike. Use a wrench, NOT pliers. The bike must be of a certain size to accommodate this model kickstand.
