Pretty good, not great for the price but does the trick. This was one of the only hose reels I could find with metal hose threads. Reel cranks nice, the guide makes it easy to wind the hose neatly.

A: To prevent the hose from rolling backwards when cranking the reel, place your foot on the bottom front brace of the hose reel as you are reeling in the hose.
