Waste of Money!!

This is not a sturdy product. Plastic is cheap and the connector piece that attaches the short external hose to the actual unit broke off completely and is now literally useless. Stay away from this one!

This thing is absolutely horrible...it's very flimsy and wiggles like crazy when trying to reel in hose....the plastic shelf broke off in the first few days and it leaked like crazy.

If you are just showboating a hose (not sure why you would) then this will be perfect. If you actually plan on using the reel, forget it.
I have an older model (maybe 2 years old) and the thing was garbage from day 1. I'm looking at purchasing a new one so this one can make its way to the dump. It is flimsy, leaking and the reel portion keeps coming off the housing. Nothing but JUNK!!!
I truly do hate this product more than words can express.

this thing is so flimsy! you need to hold it down when putting the hose back in or else it completely moves. the hose that connects broke after the first year as well.

This reel did not last more than 2 months of light use. The hose connections leaked everywhere making this thing useless. Suncast products are normally good quality as I have purchased them before. It appears that the o-rings and plastic fittings are poor quality which cause it to fall apart to quickly. Unfortunately I purchased this in fall 2009 and can only get an exchange at this point.
