Had to install this gate in an awkward location (bottom of stairs) but it fit perfectly. Easy to install. Gate is easy to open and close and it also swings closed (doesn’t slam shut but swings closed). Great product.

Works great and easy to install securely

I have had this gate through 2 grandchildren and it has always worked great. It is easy to install and very secure if the directions are followed. It's a shame that the 1 star reviews appear to be from people that fail to follow the instructions

A: The gate is made of metal, except the screen part of the door is made of plastic, it’s held up very well for my 100 pound dogs

Q: I got a skyworth 59 ins at canadian tire 3yrs ago and about 5 months ago tv went blank no colour at all

A: Good question. If the TV does not work anymore, you can place it in front of the stairs and use it as a child gate. Seeing that we are asking questions about the Summer Infant Walk-Thru Gate.
