Q: The product says it treats upto 132 Litres of gas. My Car gas tank capacity is about 75 litres. Should I pour entire bottle of STP ultra in one gas fill or use half bottle for one tank fill up of 75 Litres?

It is formulated to help save gas, restore peak performance, reduce friction, prevent ethanol deposits and inhibit corrosion, and can be used on modern gasoline engines such as turbo, direct inject and hybrid vehicles. Unfortunately, this product has not be tested on its ability to clean the catalytic converter.

Q: I'm having issues with the fuel gauge on my Pontiac Solstice. Someone recommended Chevron Techron Plus Fuel System Cleaner to clear the corrosion from the gauge. Would this product do the trick and clear up the fuel gauge sensor? Thanks.

A: Hi Canuckle. STP® Ultra 5-in-1 is designed to clean deposits throughout the vehicle’s fuel system and fight engine friction. If a malfunctioning fuel gauge sensor is caused by this, STP® Ultra 5-in-1 may help. However, a fuel additive will not resolve issues from a faulty fuel gauge sensor. You may certainly try using STP® Ultra 5-in-1 first, but if the problem does not resolve, you may need to see a mechanic.
