Would have have a 5 start, but they have now cheaping out and used cardboard to hold the sockets in the case now. The sockets went all over the yard when I opened it!

Q: My set came feeling pretty oily and smelling a bit like cigarette smoke.. or maybe it's just the oil smell. Is this normal for a brand new set or was mine potentially used?

Q: does the case have a lifetime warranty also?

  • A: Stanley will NOT replace the case or for that matter they will not sell a replacement case either. The best we can get out of the case is three years, winters in Manitoba are cold and plastic doesn't like the cold.
