amazing heater!!!

I've had this heater for a couple months now and it heats up my single car garage to a comfortable temperature in about an hour. outside temperature is about -5C. i have 10 1/2 foot ceiling so it takes time for the heat to come down. I would suggest having another fan hooked up beside it as shown in the photo to help move the heat more. So far, I am quite happy with it.

Had this heater for a few years, looks nice but that's it. Takes too long to heat the garage....+5 to +10 in 2.5hrs in a insulated garage. Now it won't shut off..thinking it may be the thermostat. 👎
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great, but pricey and sub-par hanging bracket

Pricey compared to the Stelpro Uniwatt that shares most specs, but airflow design of this unit seems better. Design of the attachment bracket is hard to properly attach to ceiling, room for improvement there.
Other than that, it provides a smooth heating with good airflow and promote air circulation to properly heat the garage. Not as powerful as the former 5000W ceiling heater, but still correct for my 20x24X10 garage.
Best aspect of this heater compared the 5000W units is the compatibility with 4000W smart thermostat enabling automation like automatically shutting the heater off when garage doors are open to prevent pushing hot air out with the fan or lowering the set temperature in peak periods.
Not really a fan of the design, something plain would be best for the garage.

A: No. This is to be installed as a permanent fixture in your garage or house paired with whatever thermostat you purchase with it. If that thermostat includes a remote, then yes I guess you'll have one.

A: My garage ceiling has blown-in insulation and no issues. Why would it matter of what kind of insulation would your garage have? As long you have gypsum in between you're good to go.

A: Stelpro electronic thermostat. Get the model that are for heaters with fan. I have one and it's great. It has preset temperatures. I can preset the temperature at 5c when I'm not using that garage and preset it at the temperature that your comfortable with when working in the garage. I set mine at 16c. I can switch between the 2 settings just by holding the button. Great feature. They call it the econo feature.

A: It’s working perfectly for me.i have a 20’x24’ garage well insulate,and it keep the garage at 20 degree all winter !! It’s a way better than a 5000 watts because the thermostat dont heat and stop with a false reading !! I am very very satisfied

Q: How many square feet can I heat with the unit?

A: It should be good up to 400 sq ft. I’m using it in a 20’x20 insulated attached garage. Without heat, my garage in winter would stay between 0c and 5c, depending on the temperature outside. It should be more than enough wattage for my needs. I’ll find out this upcoming winter.
