Worst one on the market

the wiring is different from all the other manufacturers. There is no thermostat, so it is full blast 100% of the time. The company sells a thermostat that is double the cost of all the others that they market as compatible. It is not. If you want to spend more money and get inferior products, then buy Stelpro. The product instructions that came with both purchases do not even show the correct model in the instructions. Both mine are now in the trash.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Is the Thermostat setting on the heater? ie a dial etc

A: The basic integrated thermostats for the Brava baseboards (SIBT1W single pole and SIBT2W double pole) have simple round knobs with no temperature indications printed on them or on the heater. The electronic integrated thermostat for the Brava baseboards (SIBTE12C) allows the user to select a precise temperature with the easy to use interface.

Q: I currently have a stelpro 500 watt heater that is 37 inches long. Would it be ok to replace it with this 750 watt unit as it should be the same length. Is it any more efficient to bump up to the 750 watt if the 500 is doing ok?

A: The only difference is that your room will heat up faster with the 750 watt baseboard.

Q: HI! How close to an electrical outlet can this be?? I have an outlet 6 inches vertical above the heater and then 4 inches horizontally from the heater frame (which is about 12 inches diagonally from the actual heater elements) IS THIS OKAY?

A: Based on your description, your receptacles meet the required clearances between the heater and objects. The object considering your may have a plug in the receptacle ay any given time. You still may however want to validate with your electrician that the installation is done according to the electrical code in your area.

Q: I just bought this 750 Watt version and the directions say NOT to put it under an electrical outlet. I have an outlet 4 inches horizontally and 6 inches vertically away from the heater FRAME and its 8 inches from the actual heater ELEMENT. is that okay?
