Keeping my child’s room at a constant temperature

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This size heater is perfect for our daughters bedroom. Thankfully it hasn’t used up much electricity and it’s a great way to keep a single room perfectly warm. It’s great to keep the temperature I pick up as somedays our house is colder than others. You would probably need a bigger size for any wide open spaces but for regular or small rooms it’s great!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Stelpro B1002W 1000W 240V Electric Baseboard Heater turned out to be a solid unit overall. In terms of functionality, it does exactly what you’d expect from a convection heater, it’s quiet, steady warmth with no fans or noise, which makes it great for bedrooms or small living areas. At the beginning you may smell almost a burning smokey scent but thats normal as it will go away after some use. Its coverage is perfectly fine for the bathroom where I have it installed, and once it warms up, it keeps the space consistently comfortable without any hot or cold spots. Maintenance is basically nonexistent aside from the occasional dusting, which is much appreciated. As for heating performance, it puts out a reliable amount of warmth and feels efficient for its size being 1000W. Installation was also fairly simple, and the instructions were clear enough that the whole process went smoothly as there was only a black and red wire. I have a lot of electrical equipment laying around so I was able to use a lot of those and only bought some shielding for the wire being run across the ceiling. The only real downside was the condition it arrived in, some parts were dented or damaged, and a few pieces felt pretty flimsy, almost like they could snap if you weren’t careful. I may have received a one off unit that was like this. Even with those issues, the heater still works well and does its job. So no complaints here.

Q: This doesn’t any heat settings so if you don’t have a thermostat how would this heat up and at what range

A: You will need to purchase a thermostat from Canadian tire or somewhere else. Connect this on one leg of the supply wire. If you don't use an external thermostat you will have no control of the heat the heater puts out.

A: By default the unit comes with no control. You have the option of purchasing a built-in thermostat or a wall thermostat separately.
