Works great, but hard to find.

We used this to keep our cat away from the front door and bathroom because she is a strictly indoor cat and there were items in the bathroom that could hurt her. I figured out how to position it where it does not actually spray the cat, but sprays the door when it opens and only the humans get the spray on their feet, but the sound keeps her away.
It would usually last at least a week before we had to refill it. Unfortunately, the stores stopped carrying it and now carry something called Sunbeam which looks like an egg and seems to have to be refilled at least once or twice a day. I thought the product had been completely discontinued since I could not find it anymore. Now that I see it is back, I will order some as soon as I can.

My cat had a UTI and urinated on our couch multiple times. Once we cleared the UTI, he still was urinating on the couch. After trying many things, I broke down and bought Ssscat. It WORKS! It only took a few times being poofed with the air and now he will avoid the couch any time he even sees the Ssscat is up (and thus reducing the # of refills we need).
Just wish the refill canisters weren't so darn expensive!

I have a cat that loves to dump over my house plants and get into my fish tank so the cans of Ssscat I got work beautifully to scare her away. In fact, if I walk too close to them, the spritz me and it really startles the cat and she dives for cover. It really is great not to have to worry when I leave home and know I'll find the plants still in their pots and the fish not being terrorized.
