Inaccurate and super annoying to use

The AC warning goes off constantly and is very loud, even if you're not near any wires. It also gives off a lot of false positives. It is barely better than just knocking on the wall and finding the stud yourself.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this sensor on sale without checking the reviews. No wonder it was on sale... The AC detector just beeps constantly despite the fact that I'm testing it on a wall that has no power within 30 feet. The only time it registers a stud is when it passes directly over a drywall screw. Totally useless. Don't waste your money on Stanley Tools.

Money Lost invest 20 box more to get accurated tool

Very confused tool buzzing or lightening withoit being on target....lost of time. And money Rear black foam makes marks on the wall had to clean it all....

Does not work!

The a/c doesn’t stop going off and because of its poor stud finding abilities I now have holes in my wall everywhere because it kept telling me there were studs where there were none. Horrible product!!! So, now I’m stuck with a useless paper weight basically and having to spend unexpected money on fixing the holes in my wall!
