Q: I've got a standard 2" hitch bike rack. I've got a 70+ lb. step through e-bike. Can I 'hang' my ebike on this rack supported by this bike adapter (the adapter needs to support the full weight of the bike; is it strong enough?)

A: I would be reluctant to hang 70lb on this. The loops ant the end of the bar are held on with what appears to me to be light duty pins. Not sure what they claim for official rating but I used it for Making a kids bike fit on my bike rake
