    not so good

I bought one of these back in may 2009 to replace the aging kenwood mono block i had. work great for 2 weeks, then started making weird and wounderful noises through the subs. took it back for exchange, got another one, this time i couldn't even get the 100 amp fuse into the battery cable with out popping the fuse. back to the store i went for the third time, this time the LP filter didn't work. at this time i had enough put my kenwood back in and got my money back. (thanks to Canadian tire for being most helpful with this). In the last year i have heard and had friends that say these amps are useless as they come. One of my friends can't even use his for 20 minutes and then wham into protection mode because its over heating and he listen to his music at a decent level (loud enough that you can still talk back and forth in his car). Never again will i buy sony, I buy pioneer from here on out. Wait i have and love it

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good Amp

I recently bought one of these after seeing how well the one my friend had performed. It really makes 12 inch pioneers pound! However, if you plan on buying any amp, make sure that ALL the parts are included in the box before purchasing. Mine never came with any mounting screws or the High Level Input connector (Which I needed!) Still a good amp though.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: will i need anything else to hook this amp to 3 different sets of speakers? i mean like any special wire, or conectors will i need

    1 Answer
    • A: you got to watch for how many ohms the amp is capable to handle and how many ohms your speakers are for example if your amp is capable of 4 ohm which should be on the back of amp then you can only operate 2 8 ohm subs or speakers unless you do not bridge them which will not sound like what the speakers was designed to my sugestion is if you want to amplifie all of your speakers is run 2 amps 1 for your subs if you have subs bridge them according to specs and run the other on full range for your mids and tweets
