Q: IS this good for automotive paint?

A: This product is usable on Automotive paint. The product Powerfully Dissolves Tough Coatings & Adhesives. It will also thin lacquer & automotive coatings, cleans paint equipment, and removes residue from hard surfaces.

Q: Is this pure toulene? Looking to use such as a octane booster in fuels. Either this or xylene works.

A: Lacquer Thinner is not pure Toluene. We don’t recommend using it as octane booster in fuels.

Q: For car paint touch ups: would pure acetone work as well ? i see this only contains 1-5% acetone. i have some touch-ups to do, i see videos that tell me to use paint thinner, acetone is part of this product. can acetone be used instead ?

A: Acetone is a relatively strong solvent and can be functionally used as paint thinner BUT it is more flammable than the lacquer thinner. It has higher safety risk.
