Bottles are fine but very disappointed that bottles and cylinders will be discontinued, forcing us to buy an entire new unit to replace a perfectly good one.

Q: How long these bottles last? I understand these have limited fife span. How long do these bottles last / how often must they be replaced?

A: The bottles have that info/instuctions right on them... if you notice there is lettering at near the bottom of the bottles in different languages there it will tell you the date when you should discard it.

Q: Can it handle warm water, Because when I put almost room temperature water in there it started to melt and cave in.

A: I’ve never had that happen with any of my bottles. I hand wash them with hot water and have never had any warping issues or cave ins, maybe you had a faulty bottle?

Q: Discontinued? How can this product be discontinued? What bottles can I buy to use with my sodastream (older model)?

A: You may replace discontinued sku 043-1247 directly with our sku 043-1263 1 litre Jet 4 Pack (it is the standard carbonating bottle,) a four pack of red, yellow, green and blue accents.

Q: Will these bottles fit the Kitchen Aid Effervescent? I am considering buying the kitchen aid effervescent but I don't see replacement bottles. Will these fit?

Q: Do these fit the Sodastream Source? I cannot get this bottle to fit into the source. The shape of the bottle is different though the top looks the same. This bottle is not working with the source.

A: Yes, 043-1247 definitely fits on the Source. The bottle has the exact same opening as the Source bottle, and should work for any Sodastream machine If you like, they can definitely call our Customer Service line and one of the reps will be happy to help (1-877-436-5866)
