The machine itself works fine. I was looking for a machine that would use glass bottles. First on two different purchases I was sold two different size glass bottles for my original machine- neither one fit. So I bought the latest model which comes with one glass bottle that doe fit. I also purchased the stainless steel bottle tops- they do not fit the glass bottles??? What is going on here?

Lovely carafe with slip-free design; wrong match for my model

I love the shape and built-in non-slip ridges. Unfortunately, either I misread the information or there was some kind of glitch on the website that said this carafe fits my particular SodaStream machine model, Fizzi. It does not. Anyway, I decided to keep the carafe for using at parties; I’ll simply transfer the sparkling water from a bottle that properly fits my machine. Not ideal, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it. The mismatch is the only reason I gave only 4 stars; otherwise, I love SodaStream.

Why do you sell these as a bundle with a non campatible machine? And they cannot be retuned once you try and use them.

Glass over Plastic

If only Soda Stream made glass carafes for every machine! The reason I received the original Soda Stream many years ago was to reduce purchasing plastic seltzer bottles. I carbonize my water in the plastic bottles and transfer to the glass carafe but that doesn’t totally eliminate the need for new plastic bottles every 6-8 months.
