Q: LED Light takes what type & amount of batteries???

A: actually, the batteries can be replaced. i replaced mine, the light pops right open without any tools. the person who said otherwise... is wrong.... it takes those small wrist watch style batteries, and when you open it up, the batteries will have what type they are printed on the top of them.
