Stunning backsplash upgrade

Love the hexa tiles in grey/white. Used them on my kitchen walls to create a backsplash and they are perfect. They brighten up the space and make it look finished plus they are easy to clean

Overall I'm pretty happy with these tiles. Installation was tricky for me because I was doing the area around my fireplace which was not level and required some challenging cuts. Once I got that figured out it was actually pretty easy and forgiving to stick it onto my existing tile. We'll see how it holds up to the heat of my gas fireplace but so far so good (only been about a week of having the fireplace on but the tiles have been up for months).
Yes, I recommend this product.

The tiles are easy to work with & adhere well. I had to cut them in many ways for the backsplash I was doing & it was easily done with an exacto knife. They really updated the space.

A: You can install peel and stick Smart Tiles directly over your existing backsplash, whether it is glass or ceramic provided that your surface is smooth, sleek and without texture. You must also take into consideration the width and depth of your existing grout lines as this might affect the outcome. Please click here for more information about installing Smart Tiles over existing backsplash. Some shapes of tiles (ex: diamond) have more texture than others. We recommend testing with 1 or 2 Smart Tiles that also have texture before doing the full wall. * IMPORTANT: For the Oslo models, it is recommended that these be installed exclusively on smooth and sleek surfaces. Due to its size, the tile will tend to show any irregularities in the surface. If the surface is even slightly indented such as with a grout line, you must fill any gaps to ensure a smooth application of the Oslo. For the Norway Bleached Wood and Blok White, it is recommended that these be installed exclusively on a white and smooth and sleek surface. Due to its large size without grout, the tile will tend to show any irregularities and colors of the surface covered.

Q: Im looking for an inexpensive way to update my shower/tub. When i searched for "shower peel and stick tiles" these have repeatedly come up. Can they actually be used for the inside of a shower?

A: I used it for backsplash! My self I don’t think I would use it in direct shower with steam ! Just my opinion!

Q: Upon removal do the pile and stick tiles tear off the paper of the drywall it’s adhere to?

A: Hello, If you need to remove after installation, they can be easily removed pracitically without any damange, depending on the surface they were intially installed on. Heat each tile with a hairdryer to soften the adhesivse, the gently pull on each coner. To finish clean wall with TSP to remove any excess glue left by the Smart Tiles.

A: Hello, Smart Tiles are designed to withstand heat from a stove, withstand moisture and water spashes and humidity once properly installed. However, they should not be installed where there is direct contact with water, such as a shower.

A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. The tiles are humidity resistant and can be placed in the area above the shower, however we do not suggest placing them where they will be in constant/direct contact with water as they are not waterproof.

A: Hello, They can be installed on a surface whose temperature does not exceed 49 °C (120 °F). Above all, it is important to avoid any direct contact with a heat source or direct exposure to an open flame.
