BE CAREFUL! Does not work with all Singer machines

Bought this because I was so excited to try some different presser feet on my basic singer machine (2517C) but was disappointed when I finally got around to trying them and realized that they were incompatible with my machine. Both the bobbins and the presser feet were not compatible. Due to the lack of compatible machines on the package, I do not recommend anyone purchase this package at all.

We’re so sorry to hear about your experience with our product. We appreciate the honest feedback. As stated in the body of the ad for this kit, under Details/Features,the bobbins are Class 15 bobbins and the Singer model 2517sewing machine uses Class 66 bobbins. However the presser feet are for low Shank sewing machines and the Singer model 2517 sewing machine is a Low Shank sewing machine and are compatible. The Gathering foot will need the Presser foot shank that came with the machine to be removed to attach it. The issue with the Sew Easy foot and Rolled Hem foot would be that the attaching bar is wider on these presser feet than on the shank that came with the Singer model 2517 sewing machine. You would therefore need to purchase a Presser Foot Shank Adapter for Low Shank Snap-On Presser Feet, in order to use these presser feet.
