Well Made Trashcan

This is my second; the first one lasted 11 years! I love the silent function, the durability. The only thing that bothers me at all is that every time the pedal is pushed, the trashcan moves backwards ever so slightly; so I have to pull it forward back into position after every few uses so it's not against the wall. If you could come up with some sort of "stopper" that could prevent this, it would be a 5 for sure!

The step can is sturdy, and the lid stays open when I want it to do so. The slim size fits perfectly in my space. Very pleased.

Dog proof

I had the stainless steel butterfly lid version for over a decade but my dog recently learned to knock it over and get it open and broke it. This new trash can has the simplest lock and has so far kept my dog out. Very happy with this can.

This is my second one. Thr first one lasted 8 years. This one is cheaply made. The top keeps snapping off. Although, firmly locked in. Used to love this brand. Sadly, will buy another brand next time.

A: Just bought this and the first night we left the dog alone when we came home it was halfway across the kitchen...But he did not get it open, so it does a very good job. Almost a little hard to release the lock though, requires two hands
