Only had a 300mm cupboard and most pull out bin capacity was 2 equal bins or 3 small. Living in West Sussex recycling needs a bigger bin than rubbish, this 20/15 litre split works very well. Good quality and a very smooth operating system. Thank you

I’m on my third one

I’m on my third one of these. My choice is limited due to space available. It works OK but without maintenance the runners rust and seize up. The bins could probably do with some kind of lid.

These cans are unfortunately too small to tackle kitchen trash and recycling. The pull-out mechanism is solid and terrific - I just wish I could get something with a single can close to standard kitchen trash size.

Q: Can this be attached to a cabinet door (ie, making the door into a "drawer")? (Requires hardware in the front to physically attach to the back of the door/drawer)

A: Hello Dianne, Our 35 litre dual compartment pull-out can is not designed to be attached to the back of a cabinet door. This item features a track that attaches to the bottom of your cabinet and is drawn out by pulling on the handle at the front of the frame. Warm regards, simplehuman

A: There are no lids that are compatible with these bins. We do offer a For Living garbage can 0429909 that is also meant to go under the sink. There are two 15L bins and one of them has a lid.
