Deck Cleaning

We have a composite deck. Use with pressure washer to clean every spring. Does a great job. Just let it soak for 5 minutes, scrub some stains from leaves and then pressure wash. Quick and does a great job.

Q: Is this safe to use on house vinyl siding, glass windows, deck, car, concrete driveway and garage? Looking to buy and use with a pressure washer to pressure wash vinyl siding on the house, windows, deck, car, driveway etc...

A: Yes this product is safe for use on vinyl siding, glass windows, decks, cars, concrete and garage. However, oxidation of vinyl siding should be checked for prior to using our product. Oxidation does not occur evenly, and as best as you're try you may not remove it from the surface evenly. This can result in a spotty unfinished appearance. This should be considered before using our product.

Q: How many square feet will this do? Is it possible to estimate how many square feet a bottle is good for? I'm sure it varies based on the machine used, but how many bottles would I need for about 2000 square feet of vinyl siding.

A: There are a lot of variables when estimating coverage for pressure washing a surface. It is probably a good idea to purchase 2 bottles to cover 2,000 square feet. You will probably have a bit left over after the job is finished.

A: When using with a pressure washer, Simple Green All Purpose Pressure Washer is used full strength into the pressure washer. You can pour directly into the detergent reservoir, or drop the siphon and filter into the container.

Q: Is this safe for cars? can this detergent be used to wash vehicles. Since it doesn't say specifically, i would like to know so i don't go damaging the paint.

A: Simple Green All Purpose Pressure Washer Concentrate is suitable for washing cars. The product, when used according to directions, will not harm painted or clear coat finishes. For best results pre-wet the surface, apply the solution, allow a few minutes for the product to penetrate soils but don't allow to dry, then rinse with high pressure. Because there are a variety of finishes and waxes applied to automotive surfaces, it is always recommended to spot test prior to cleaning.
