Simoniz 2700 PSI Gas Pressure Washer

I've bought this product at a reduced price. It was a display unit but was never actually used. I had my first issue with starting the motor. After i added oil and gas and connected the water supply hose, the unit didn't want to start. It was very hard to pull the cord, almost impossible (seized from sitting on a shelf?). After i tried a dozen times or so the pull finally loosened and was able to start it. The unit is powerful and has a strong spray. I cleaned a few patio stones to test it and the result was good. When i tried to stop the motor however, using the start/stop rocker switch as suggested in the user manual, the engine did not stop, tried several times with no success. Then the engine started to bang, i was kind of worried that it will blow-up, so in desperation i thought of using the choke switch to stop it and as i expected the engine first stalled and then stopped when the choke switch moved to closed position (cold start position). The manual says if the engine is warm you don't need to choke the engine to re-start, however in my case i had to first move the choke switch to closed position, pull the cord once, then move the switch back to open position and pull the cord again. This was the only way i could re-start a warm engine!. Also, while cleaning the patio stones the engine would stop after every few minutes and needed to be re-started!. The water hose was also very stiff and would not easily uncoil/recoil and kink when stretched to far, making the cleaning job a lot tougher. As you can imagine this unit is returned back to the store. I would say I am not really impressed with what i've seen. Would not buy this brand ever again!.

J'ai fait, hier, l'aquisition de ce pulvérisateur. Au départ, je n'ai jamais été un grand fan de la marque Simoniz. Généralement, Simoniz évoque pour moi l'image parfaite d'un produit jettable après utilisation. Etttt j'ai tout eu faux ! Ce pulvérisateur est génial, bien conçu, robuste et efficace en tout point ! Le seul bémol est pour ce qui est de l'accessoir de canon à mousse. Il fonctionne SUPER BIEN ! Son seul et unique problème est son connecteur qui doit s'adapter directement sur le fusil (filets) plutôt qu'au bout de la lance avec un connecteur rapide. Quand on doit savonner et rincer, il devient rapidement aggaçant d'avoir à dévisser la lance du fusil pour revisser l'accessoir avant d'avoir à refaire la même chose à l'inverse. Un simple connecteur rapide pour le canon à mousse m'aurait permi de donner la note parfaite mais ce petit détail reste tout de même très aggaçant au final. En conslusion: A acheter sans hésitation ! Mais j'conseille personellement les futurs acheteurs de se trouver un canon à mousse avec un adapteur rapide (comme celles des buses de rinçage.

i bought this product, it stopped working after 2 months, called customer service which recommended to give the product to Swish to repair, its being 3 months my pressure washer is with Swish repair store, they finally said they cant repair the unit, so since then i am calling Simoniz for every for two month, but they wont honor their warranty, keep passing the bucks... DONOT BUY IT THIS PRODUCT

Used this a few times, started having issues with the pull cord winding. Now can no longer start as the pull cord doesn't rewind properly.

This is an awesome little unit for the price . I did have an issue right out of the box where one of the wheels was not included which caused a bit of a disappointment as I could not use the unit as intended but had to set it up on blocks. Another thing I wish they did was include oil to put in the unit because once ready to use I had to run out and purchase oil before I could start it. I do have some concerns of how long this motor will last as it has no name brand on it . I would much rather purchase something with the name brands such as Honda or Briggs & Stratton attached to it . I guess time will tell. I do like the phone blaster and with the proper phone you can really lay down a thick layer of bubbles to help clean off your vehicle with very little scrubbing .
