2 dogs and 2 teens later: works fast, well no fuss

Works fast, well no fuss. I wish they had a bag or something to store the extra attachments. I have two dogs with longer fur. The pet attachment picks up the gunk and as promised, keeps it separate. All the other attachments work well and do not get clogged by the fur.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent for Pet Owners

So far I have been using this a few times and if you have pets this is fantastic. Over the years I have owned 4 Bissell spot cleaners. They all get disgusting in no time from pet hair and even if you clean the machine and hoses out they get a gross smell, lose suction.
This machine has a hair trap in the collection bin and it has a nozzle specifically designed to clean up the gross pet messes with a catch basin so it doesn’t get into the hose and machine. So when you clean the hose it is pristine. Suction is stronger than Bissell.
I can’t speak to longevity yet but so far it seems better designed for pet owners. Ease of use and storage is superior. The only drawback is the two solution system, would have been nice to have a single solution. But it does work very well and smells great.

A: The PX251 StainStriker is a portable spot cleaner, not a steam mop, so it doesn’t include a steam-generation function despite the “Steam Pro” branding you may have seen. It sprays and extracts cleaning solution but does not produce steam. If you’re looking for steam cleaning, you’ll need one of Shark’s dedicated steam-mop models (e.g., the S1000 or S3501 Steam Pocket Mop).
