Easy To Use, Super Powerful
Wow, I’m very impressed with how powerful this vacuum is. I love the design, it’s very easy to disassemble, and stores perfectly when you don’t have much room. It has two power settings, one for bare floor/area rugs and the other is for high pile carpets. I used the first setting on my delicate area rugs and the vacuum didn’t damage them at all. The second setting is very powerful and works very well picking up debris on my high pile rugs. This vacuum picked up stuff my other vacuum missed. What I also really like about this vacuum is that there are lights. It makes it so much easier when I can see better. Also this vacuum comes with a variety of attachments. I like to use the pointed nozzle in between the cushions on my couch. This vacuum easily converts with the push of a button from full length to handheld, which makes it even more functional. After vacuuming my whole house I was very surprised how much it picked up and glad the storage compartment was large enough to catch everything. Plus the collection bin easily detaches so emptying the debris is easy and mess free. A feature that really sets this vacuum apart from the rest is how the roller bar self cleans. I no longer have to constantly remove hair and other debris which I didn’t like with my previous vacuum. Overall I highly recommend this lightweight vacuum. It’s perfect I would change nothing.

Shark HV343AMZ Rocket Corded

Shark HV343AMZ Rocket Corded Stick Vacuum is what I purchased. So far I am happy with it. The only issue so far is that it is top heavy and cannot stand up alone. Otherwise it picks up well. I love that it has lights. My last shark was a lift away and did not have lights. It seems to do a very nice job.

Great purchase. I am very happy with all its applications. I find it very easy to switch from floor sweep to wand or handheld vacuum. Easy to empty. Nice long cord.

Q: Do you have to hold the power button down while using any of the attachments?
4 Answers
A: Nope :)
Once it's on, its on.
Its got selection for carpet (lots of whizzing on the bottom of the stick thingy to fluff your carpets) or hard floors (no fluffing hard floors).
When you pull the motor out of the stick part to use the attachments it doesn't matter what you have selected, it just vacuums. I use it to dust before i vaccum. I'm happy with it. And who doesn't love a fluffy carpet?

Q: For those who own this vacuum I just purchased today and noticed there is a pretty high pitch whirling sound in the motor along with the regular vacuum noise. It’s on whether it’s on bare floor or carpet mode. Is this normal because it’s pretty loud?

Q: Can the vacuum be used while the roller brush is turned off? I prefer to use the roller when on carpet and turn it off when on bare floor.
1 Answer
A: We would like to inform you that the brushroll cannot be turned off when using the floor nozzle. With this being said, it does have two flooring settings that changes the speed of the brushroll. The Bare floor setting spins slower than the carpet setting.
