Too heavy in the handle and loud

While it claims this product is light weight (less than 10 lbs), I found it to be too heavy as most of its weight is in the hand held portion. It is not suitable for an older adult with shoulder issues. Also, it is loud (motor is where you hold the handle which is closest to your ears).

light, compact, easy to hang in closet, durable

This is the third Shark Rocket I've bought. All of them are still working. The first one I bought is at least 12 years old and still going strong! I just had to replace the flex hose recently. I like how light, compact, manoeuverable these units are. Easy to store hanging in a closet.

Q: Do you have to keep your finger on the power button to keep the vacuum running, or can you just click it on and forget it? On one vacuum I owned, you had to keep your finger on the 'trigger', and it really strained the wrist and hand after awhile.
