Q: Is this product considered "soft" and/or "non-residue"?
16 years agoA: There is no fabric softener in this product. You will have to use fabric softener if you have hard water. None of these detergents leave residue behind generally, unless folks are using too much. You may not see much suds in the detergent; the reason is that there are 2 suds suppressant ingredients in there, so that the product could be used in High Efficiency machines (HE machines – where oversudsing can be an issue). You should not use more than what the manufacturer recommend in order to get more suds, because it will be too much and you may get residue in your clothes over time if you do.
