      But It Only On Sale

While this seems like a solid product in certain areas, it is not worth the full cost considering what others have already complained about - you can't get at the battery compartments without having to fight to take off the tight rubber cover. Product design wasn't thought out all the way through. Thankfully, I bought it on sale. Something to consider.

      Great Value

I just bought these after doing comparative shopping. I ride with the lights front and rear on flashing mode, even in the middle of the day. Very bright light, very tough. A bit fiddly to put in the batteries. But that adds to the water resistant nature. I'm happy with this purchase.

      Definitely worth it

I read the previous reviews and decided to buy it anyways; I don't have arthritis so maybe this isn't for you if you do, but otherwise it's really not that hard to change the batteries. The rubber is quite tight, but I think this is for the best since it makes them more waterproof, which is a problem I've had with my other lights when I bike in rain or snow. The lights work great and I'm really glad I ignored the negative reviews.

      You'll be surprised.

I just bought these earlier today. I cycle to work before 4am and the prior LED lights I had were not enough. Seen these on sale and figured why not give it a go despite the negative responses it has. Well guess what..........It is a great little set up. Yes, as mentioned in another review, the battery installment could be a little tricky(due to no instructions) and due to the flexible rubber could be something for some of those to deal with. I found the rear tail light was simple as could be to install batteries. The headlight was a little tricky as you roll the rubber back(just sounds dirty doesn't it eh) However, due to its smooth latex like cover, slipping it back on and mounting it(once again, sounds so wrong lol). The headlight definitely illuminates the area before me and the tail I can easily see is doing what it is suppose to do, be seen!

      Really hard to install batteries

You'd better have really strong hands to use these lights because you'll have to peel back the stiff rubber casing just to get the batteries in. If you have problems with your hands (I have arthritis) this isn't for you. I bought 2 packages of these lights yesterday and today I have to return them because my hands ache just trying to access the battery compartments. I can't imagine going through that every time I need to recharge the batteries. I'll have to find a set that has a built-in rechargeable battery. Too bad because this light set looks like it has good features. I imagine the tight rubber helps to keep the works dry in the rain, although I would wonder if it doesn't stretch out after a while.

No, I do not recommend this product.
