Terrible....gnats!!

I bought the Schultz Potting Soil Plus about 2.5 months ago to plant a cutting in. The soil was infested with gnats (tiny little flies). Did not realize this until too late. They spread to most of my plants very quickly. I've tried for 2 months to get rid of them but now have thrown out 4 plants and 2 more will probably need to go. One plant I've had for over 8 yrs. Very expensive to replace. So disappointed and ticked. Would never recommend buying this soil.

Too much nitrogen

Was wondering why my plants were burning more with this earth than others. I did re-agent tests to find that this is waaayyy too high in nitrogen. Beware using this earth with sensitive plants.

Great soil for under watering house plant pros

This soil is maybe not the most commonly loved potting soil but it really is great for those of us that forget to water our plants. If you're an overwater houseplant pro then look for promix, it doesn't retain as much water. Myself though, schultz is a great all around potting mix for whatever i'm growing :]

Great soil for a great price! I'm no pro gardener but this soil is perfect for any application. Veggies or flowers it doesn't matter because it grows it all :)
