Brand new: leaves streaks.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it leaves a streak in the middle of the wiper path. I installed it immediately after washing the car so the windshield was clean and had the wipers on for 3 minutes while spraying washer fluid intermittently.

Hello Colter, is it important that the upon installation your windshield is fully clean and is residue free. You are to run the wiper blades for 3 minutes and spray washer fluid intermittently (4-5 times) which will transfer the water repellency to your windshield. If instructions are followed properly there should be no streaks upon correct installation. Thank you

Fitting (adapter) just the slightest bit too wide to be accomodated in the slot in the wiper arm. Not able to make it work AT ALL. On the positive side, Cdn Tire is good at taking returns
