good iron

i like this iron but it is too expensive. Half price would be a decent price for it. Have used it for a year. No complaint. I have heard what makes these irons leak is filling the water while iron is hot. Wait till it's cold or fill it before heating it up.

Big disappointment

I've had this iron for less than a year and it has started leaking so badly that it's virtually unusable with the steam feature. Works fine as a dry iron.

Bad quality

I thought Rowena was a good quality brand especially considering the price tag you see at some stores. I was wrong I should have purchased another brand. The steam feature stopped working after a month and the spray feature stopped working shortly after. Barely had it for a year and it already barely works. I iron a number of shirts and pants once a week.

I just bought this iron two days ago. The instructions are in diagram form, very Ikeaish. It was very awkward to fill and a fill cup is not included. Perhaps a funnel would work better. I waited the proper amount of time before beginning and within moments of starting, it spit rust coloured water onto my fabric. It's surprising to see rust from a brand new iron and disappointing. It did iron smoothly and managed most wrinkles with little effort. There is no real steam control and lacks choices for such a pricey iron, that sells $50-70 cheaper elsewhere. I will be returning it at the first opportunity (I live an hour from the nearest CT.)
