I purchased this product a month ago and after 100's of km I discovered a rubber smell. I determined it was the exhaust heating my rock tamer mudflap. I reached out to rock tamer and mentioned in the instructions or as an insert they should be saying you need the exhaust port for rear exhaust vehicles. They are sending me a replacement and I will install the exhaust port. That's customer service! I have a 2500 GMC SLT and tow two style of construction trailers so this protection is a necessity.
