    SERVICE - WHAT SERVICE?

bought it on Friday and had 2 issues. Found 2 axle washers which showed up on their old diagram for wheel assembly and wondered if they should go on inside face of wheel to keep out dirt. Also, could not get caps on axles with rubber mallet. Machining on axle too rough. Filed down edge of caps to no avail. Both got deformed. Have called the Rhyno 24 hr line 3 times, both day and night. gets transferred to voice mail, left messages.........NO Response. Sent an email to Bill at Rhyno, got no response. So, if you buy the trailer and have no problems, no issue. |f you have problems or issues.....GOOD LUCK on service which makes the warranty useless.

    Does The Job

This sure beats loading up a wheelbarrow and walking that thing when it's full to the dump site! I hook this trailer up to my garden tractor and it makes clean-up effortless. The off-road (fat) tires follow well and float nicely over any terrain. My only observation about this product (I bought the 1,000 lb!!! payload model) is the dump lock pin...it's not exactly easy to get at for removal or reinserting, and I can see losing the clevis pin and/or the hairpin cotter lock if you don't pay attention. Otherwise, it's basic but I like it and for what you get it's reasonably priced, especially on sale of course! I haven't loaded it to anywhere near it's supposed 1,000 lb capacity so I can't comment on that (except that I'd be REEEAALY careful with that dump lock pin if I had 1,000 lbs to release)...it was the floatation tires that sold me on this product, and in that regard, I'm happy with it.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I purchased the ...... ..... medium duty ATV / lawn tractor trailer (Rhyno) from Cdn Tire for my Craftsman lawn tractor. Does Cdn tire have the accessories for the hitch (ball and attachment to tractor) ? What is required ?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes, we do carry these products. This trailer requires a 2” towing hitch ball (040-6041) and will also require a trailer ball mount. The size of the ball mount will depend on the height of your tractor as well as the height of the trailer. For example, if your tractor hitch receiver is 3 inches taller than your trailer; you will require a ball mount with a 3” drop.
